| New Family Dollar Store due to open in January, 2013. |
The Family Dollar Store in Webster Springs, currently located next to the IGA, is due to relocate to its new larger store across from the Rite Aid in January, 2013, according to the information Family Dollar has given to local store manage Vickie Clutter.
Family Dollar operates approximately 7,100 stores in 45 states and the District of Columbia. They employ about 45,000 people in their discount stores. On October 3, 2012, CEO Howard Levine announced that due to recent high profits, Family Dollar will open 500 stores in 2013.
